7′ Homemade DEATH Rocket!
This video explains what went wrong with my last project, the 5′ PVC Missile. Also, I unveil my next project, a 7′ Sugar Rocket! All my plans are available at pdxpower.com/download
All of these materials are common and can be bought at home deopt, hobby stores, and or online.
Documentary on my homemade rocket. I used the same engine making technique you can see here: http://youtube.com/watch?v=O8kG2g8BMJs
More videos to come!
I am NOT an anarchist or a terrorist. I just want to humor myself and in the process show everyone how simple it is to create something so powerful. Be safe, respectful of others, and always do the right thing! Enjoy.

yea the tube that goes throgh the motor is unessisary because that fulle burns fast as **** and i no a thing or 2 abought faild atemps and exploshoions so loud it sets of car alarms off..
the way i figure it the full burns at a rate of abought 2.5grams a second or higher.lol ther for u dont need that tube
also if u want more power try making a sodium chlorate powder rocket and i have a vid on how to make a 100ml cell that gives off abought 25 grams to 25kg of sodium chlorate from tabl salt

NONONONONONO!!!
WRONG CONCLUSION
as i watched your second video, i instantly knew that thing was gonna blow up. your delay between the fuel and the charge is a doommed design. if you have made another rocket like that, it probably exploaded, even with a wider nossel. another thing is, you NEED steel walls on your motor. pvc can not handle that type of pressure. it is supposed to be over 1000 psi. even the strongest pvc pops at half that…
BUY THE BOOK OCTOBER SKY!!! best $10 investment

take an altoids can, eat the altoids, find a small switch and drill a hole in the top of the can the size of the switch and put the switch in the hole. then you find a 9v battery and some audio cable. take a 9v hookup or getto rig one and attach one side to the switch with sodder. to finish it up drill a hole that the audio cable can fit through put it in the can and attach one part of the cable to the battery and the other to the switch. on the other side of the cable put gater clips.

i mean the pipe you launch it from not the rocket itself
August 15th, 2006 at 10:52 pm
making it out of metal instead of plastic would make it too heavy to go very far
August 16th, 2006 at 4:32 am
it may cost a bit extra but it should be worth it as on my rocket the baulsa wood snaped off slightly after launching and the rocket started spining off randomly and could have seriously wounded someone. like my self as i also light my rockets with lighters.

i got a couple of sudgetions
1:you make the guide rod out of a strait matrial like metal pipe as i saw in the clip the guide rod made the rocket fly off diaganialy and as the rocket has a awesomely desinged kick *** engine when it flys high the rocket will land far off it’s launch location.
also in stead of making the tail fins baulsa wood make them abs plastic and make them more into the shape of tail fins and to get them on the body get some of that plastic welding glue.
